According to The Complete Health Care Centre, Finance houses Chase Manhattan and UPS Asset Management have been offering staff complementary therapies over the past five years, including acupuncture. aromatherapy and shiatsu massage, reflexology and osteopathy. The Body Shop, Arcadia (owners of Warehouse, Top Shop and Wallis), Virgin Records and major international hotel groups such as the Intercontinenta, are some of the big names that now provide staff with free and subsidised on-site treatments, from phisontherapy to shoulder massage.
Almost 50 per cent of the population has tried osteopathy, acupuncture or herbal health remedies. But do the alternative treatments really work? Or just a fashion? the Government is investing over a million pounds on researching alternative health remedies because of public pressure to have them made available on the NHS. But more studies are needed to know for sure whether alternative treatments are help.

FlorenceFok, I just happened to be surfing for diet tips and diet tips related sites and somehow ended here. Don't ask me how. I actually wasn't interested in Alternative Health until I accidentally got here and started reading. Got major sidetracked. - But that's ok!
